Kanna Cannabinoid Legal Bud
Kanna herb (also known as sceletium tortuosum, mesembryanthemaceae, sceletium framesii, channa, sceletium compactum, kougoed, sceletium joubertii, kauwgoed, or kanna shaman legal bud) is totally legal in the US and is reported to have properties that elevate mood, decreases anxiety, lowers stress, releases tension, suppresses appetite, brings about euphoria, stimulates the senses at first and then creates a relaxed and sedated state. Some users suggest that it provides an enhanced tactile and/or sexual response, or assists with producing vivid lucid dream states. It's a psychoactive plant that contains neurological alkaloids like mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembrenol and tortuosamine, which means that high doses produce a definitively inebriating effect in most people. It has been called a calming euphoriant, an empathogen and an entheogen. It can be used as an herbal smoke (often as a potentiator to increase the effects of other psychoactive herbs like cannabis or any other cannabinoid substance outside of marijuana; please consult your local laws before choosing which herbs to use), or it can be ingested in pill form or as a tea. This plant has been used for literally thousands of years as a shamanic supplement and makes a great totally legal smoking alternative or weed substitute.

Are we in New Orleans?
If you are asking this question, you've probably noticed that we use a lot of Mardi Gras colors on our site (purple, gold and green). This wasn't entirely intentional... more of a meditative choice after thousands of hours of staring at our own site during development. We slowly and naturally gravitated toward the colors we're using now over the course of hundreds of site revisions.
