How do magic amulets, pendants and talismans work?
Good question, Billy! A magic rune or sigil design engraved onto a magic amulet or pendant is designed to be charged with the metaphysical thoughtform that the talisman represents. The symbolism is one that can evoke an almost hypnotic state in the mind of the trained apprentice wizard, but the value extends far beyond that. Little is known about quantum mechanics to-date, but most modern physicists will agree that time does, in fact, flow in both directions at a quantum level. It is perhaps possible that a superposition of states exists on multiple planes of existence, transcending time itself, whereupon the thoughtform represented by the magick sigil is the tie that binds it to each realm across time itself.
Of course, there's something to be said for the power of faith and will, as well. Placing a certain amount of trust and faith into a significant entity alone can be enough to bend the physical universe via metaphysical means. This is how faith healing and many other miracles take place, regardless of the entity that you are placing stock/faith/trust in.

Are we in New Orleans?
If you are asking this question, you've probably noticed that we use a lot of Mardi Gras colors on our site (purple, gold and green). This wasn't entirely intentional... more of a meditative choice after thousands of hours of staring at our own site during development. We slowly and naturally gravitated toward the colors we're using now over the course of hundreds of site revisions.
So, to answer the question, we're not based out of New Orleans (although we DO love Mardi Gras!) Our company is based in the teeny-tiny state of Connecticut, tucked away in the New England corner of the United States.
